Weekend di spettacolo al Mugello Circuit, nell’ambito della Moto Gp, con la classe regina, la Moto 2, la Moto 3, la Moto E e i giovani Campioni del Red Bull Moto GP Rookies Cup. Condizioni meteo mutevoli che hanno costretto i piloti a rivedere le varie strategie. Non sono mancati i colpi di scene, come la caduta di Marquez e l’incendio della moto. Un weekend veramente pieno di emozioni, il pubblico si è stretto intorno al Vale nazionale, nel momento del ritiro del numero 46, alla presenza di Carmelo Ezpeleta e Jorge Viegas, cerimonia che si è tenuta sul rettilineo del traguardo. Max Biaggi è risalito sulla sua Aprilia 250, regalando emozioni al mondo delle due ruote, ricordi che riaffiorano e che ci

fanno credere che nell’immediato futuro troveremo gli eredi di questi due Campioni. Per adesso il “Vale” era atteso come Team Principal del Mooney VR46 Racing Team, non male l’esordio Mugellano con Bezzecchi-Marini molto concreti, alla fine hanno portato a casa un quinto e un sesto posto nella classe regina. Peccato per il ritiro di Vietti in Moto 2, il compagno Antonelli invece ha visto la bandiera a scacchi. Sulla terrazza principale si è esibito il noto DJ Bob Sinclair, la sua musica coinvolgente ha scaldato il pubblico presente, già caldo per la vittoria di “Pecco” Bagnaia con la Ducati Lenovo Team. Piloti italiani sempre in evidenza, con Matteo Ferrari in Moto E che si prende la seconda posizione in gara 1 e vince gara 2 con mezzo secondo di vantaggio su Aegerter. Filippo Farioli, protagonista in gara 2 nella Rookies Cup, insieme a Luca Lunetta quinto. Felice Marco Bezzecchi in Moto GP che da Rookie ha comandato la gara per otto giri, sfiorando poi il podio che rimane l’obiettivo stagionale. Sinceramente se lo sarebbe meritato, ma il tempo non mancherà “ è stata una bella giornata e sono rimasto sorpreso della mia gara. Non mi aspettavo di andare così bene, ma quando mi sono ritrovato lì davanti mi sono

detto che dovevo provarci. Non è andata per niente male: sono riuscito a fare qualche giro in testa e a stare un po’ con quelli buoni”. Dopo la caduta a Le Mans, Bagnaia ha vinto davanti al suo pubblico e prosegue il cammino verso la vetta della classifica, con 41p. da recuperare su Quartararo. “Oggi non c’era un grip ideale, probabilmente a causa della pioggia di stanotte, in griglia di partenza non mi sono fidato a partire con la gomma dura davanti, perché avevo freddo. È stata una scelta un po’ conservativa, che però mi ha portato a vincere la gara e vincere al Mugello è una figata mostruosa". Bilancio finale per il Mugello Circuit positivo, la prima Moto GP del dopo pandemia, è tornata l’allegria e la voglia di divertirsi e uscire all’aperto.

At the Mugello Circuit, #46, Valentino Rossi. To encapsulated this in a simple phrase "emotionally unique." This is the only way to explain the official ceremony of #46's retirement from Moto GP. Emotion was also in the voice of Giovanni di Pillo who presented the trophy ceremony with the number 46. A moment that will remain in the history of Moto GP and the Mugello Circuit, "Vale is there" a claim that will remain indelible forever. Forever.

At the Mugello Circuit another Italian rider will add to the large Italian group. Wild Card Michele Pirro will race with the same colours as Alvaro Bautista, Micheal Rinaldi on the Ducati V4 R in the MotoGP class. Pirro, who will wear the number 51, will race with the Aruba.it Racing Team trying to help as much as possible his team mates.

Mugello is Mugello, there’s nothing to add. Also, Italians have to use the seventh gear when they race here and in Misano, which is the passion of our fans”.

Starting today we have officially entered the weekend of the World Championship and the Mugello Circuit is ready to host teams, drivers, professionals and especially fans, from all over the world. 

The adrenaline rush for the first GP after the pandemic is rising, fans are ready to embrace their favorite riders and Mugello has become even more beautiful for the occasion. It will be a weekend "challenging" to start as we begin Friday, May 27 with the two sessions of free practice, starting from 08.25 with the FIM MotoE World Cup, to follow the Moto 2 at 09.00, Moto GP at 09.55, Moto 2 10.55 and Red Bull Moto GP Rookies Cup. After we have the second session of practice and then get to the two qualifying sessions of the Moto E World Cup and Red Bull Moto GP Rookies Cup. Saturday morning we start with the third session for all three classes and at 12.20 comes the first event of the weekend, with the ceremony of the retirement of number 46 of Valentino Rossi. At 12.35 you  will see the two qualifying for Moto 3, followed by the last practice session for the MotoGP. The green flag for the premier class of MotoGP qualifying will fly at 14.10, with two sessions of fifteen minutes. More qualifying, this time for Moto 2 starting from 15.10 for the first and 15.35 for the second.

The day ends with Race 1 for the Moto E World Cup and Red Bull Moto GP Rookies Cup. On Sunday the Mugello Circuit begins with all three class Warm Ups. At 11.00 the lights go out for the twenty laps of Moto 3, at 12.20 it’s up to Moto 2 with twenty-one passes. At 13.25 the second Special event, ten minutes dedicated to Max Biaggi who will make laps aboard the Aprilia 250 that gave him three World titles. The National Anthem takes place at 13.51 and will mark the beginning of the battle for the premier class that will see the green at 14.00 with twenty-three fiery laps.

Sp 37 Galliano Sant'Agata: there is a single direction from the intersection with Via della Repubblica at the intersection with Via di Gabbiano from 14.00 to 20.00;

Sp 503 of the Passo del Giogo: in the section called Viale della Resistenza it is planned to establish a single direction street towards San Piero a Sieve from 14 to 20 (stretch Palagio - intersection roundabout Sp 37);

Sp 131 Di Bilancino: there is a single direction of travel in the direction of Borgo San Lorenzo from the roundabout exit A1 until the junction for Barberino di Mugello from 5 am to 12 pm.

Autolinee Toscane has arranged, in collaboration with the Tuscany Region, additional connections on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29, to and from the railway stations of San Piero a Sieve and Borgo San Lorenzo. In according to the press release of Autolinee Toscane.

We recommend to the direct entrances Arrabbiata and Luco to get on the shuttles from the station of Borgo San Lorenzo. For those heading to the entrances Scarperia and Palagio, it is advisable to get on the shuttles to the station of San Piero a Sieve.

Are you riding your motorbike to Mugello? The access to Pelouse is free and is granted to motorbikes with >100cc engines.

Motorbikes must be homologated and their engines must be over 100cc.
