Starting today Gran Premio d'Italia Oakley
Starting today we have officially entered the weekend of the World Championship and the Mugello Circuit is ready to host teams, drivers, professionals and especially fans, from all over the world.
The adrenaline rush for the first GP after the pandemic is rising, fans are ready to embrace their favorite riders and Mugello has become even more beautiful for the occasion. It will be a weekend "challenging" to start as we begin Friday, May 27 with the two sessions of free practice, starting from 08.25 with the FIM MotoE World Cup, to follow the Moto 2 at 09.00, Moto GP at 09.55, Moto 2 10.55 and Red Bull Moto GP Rookies Cup. After we have the second session of practice and then get to the two qualifying sessions of the Moto E World Cup and Red Bull Moto GP Rookies Cup. Saturday morning we start with the third session for all three classes and at 12.20 comes the first event of the weekend, with the ceremony of the retirement of number 46 of Valentino Rossi. At 12.35 you will see the two qualifying for Moto 3, followed by the last practice session for the MotoGP. The green flag for the premier class of MotoGP qualifying will fly at 14.10, with two sessions of fifteen minutes. More qualifying, this time for Moto 2 starting from 15.10 for the first and 15.35 for the second.
The day ends with Race 1 for the Moto E World Cup and Red Bull Moto GP Rookies Cup. On Sunday the Mugello Circuit begins with all three class Warm Ups. At 11.00 the lights go out for the twenty laps of Moto 3, at 12.20 it’s up to Moto 2 with twenty-one passes. At 13.25 the second Special event, ten minutes dedicated to Max Biaggi who will make laps aboard the Aprilia 250 that gave him three World titles. The National Anthem takes place at 13.51 and will mark the beginning of the battle for the premier class that will see the green at 14.00 with twenty-three fiery laps.
Important news about arriving to the circuit
Sp 37 Galliano Sant'Agata: there is a single direction from the intersection with Via della Repubblica at the intersection with Via di Gabbiano from 14.00 to 20.00;
Sp 503 of the Passo del Giogo: in the section called Viale della Resistenza it is planned to establish a single direction street towards San Piero a Sieve from 14 to 20 (stretch Palagio - intersection roundabout Sp 37);
Sp 131 Di Bilancino: there is a single direction of travel in the direction of Borgo San Lorenzo from the roundabout exit A1 until the junction for Barberino di Mugello from 5 am to 12 pm.
Special shuttles to the Motomondiale from the stations of San Piero and Borgo San Lorenzo
Autolinee Toscane has arranged, in collaboration with the Tuscany Region, additional connections on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29, to and from the railway stations of San Piero a Sieve and Borgo San Lorenzo. In according to the press release of Autolinee Toscane.
We recommend to the direct entrances Arrabbiata and Luco to get on the shuttles from the station of Borgo San Lorenzo. For those heading to the entrances Scarperia and Palagio, it is advisable to get on the shuttles to the station of San Piero a Sieve.
Where to park at Mugello
Are you coming to Mugello by car? Here is a map of the available parkings around the Circuit: you can access 21 parkings from Palagio and Scarperia entrances, and 5 more are available from Luco and Arrabbiata entrances.
Are you riding your motorbike to Mugello? The access to Pelouse is free and is granted to motorbikes with >100cc engines.
Motorbikes must be homologated and their engines must be over 100cc.

Otto treni straordinari e più posti a disposizione su quelli ordinari per il Gran Premio di Motociclismo in programma all’autodromo del Mugello domenica 29 maggio.
Trenitalia, in collaborazione con la Regione Toscana, potenzierà le corse tra Firenze, Borgo San Lorenzo e Faenza. Il programma è già consultabile su trenitalia.com.
