Welcome to the world of endurance racing for GT and Touring cars. Inaugural race of the Mugello 2022 sports calendar with more than 50 entries from over 35 different teams and representing 16 different nations.

The Hankook 12H MUGELLO is the first European round of the 2022 24H SERIES season (the season opener was at the Dubai Autodrome in January). After Mugello, there are four further European rounds - Spa-Francorchamps, Hockenheimring, Portimao and Barcelona - that will crown the European champions for drivers and teams.

Teams and drivers are also competing for the Championship of the Continents based on results scored at the 24H DUBAI (January), the best result from any of the European races, and the season-closing Hankook 24H SEBRING

- 2021 Overall GT Teams' champion - ST Racing

- 2021 Overall TCE Teams' champion - Autorama Motorsport by Wolf-Power Racing

Event format

- 1hr of Free Practice for all cars (Friday 25 March)

- On Friday from 17.15 hrs onwards, three 10-minute qualifying sessions for the TCE division, followed by three 10-minute qualifying sessions for the GT division. The same driver cannot complete all three qualifying sessions for their team. The grid is then set using the average time recorded during these sessions.

- On Saturday from 13.00 hrs onwards, the first 5.5 hrs of the Hankook 12H MUGELLO race are completed. The race then takes an 'overnight intervention', and the remainder of the race is restarted at 09.00 hrs. The grid is set by the finishing order on Saturday.
